The Sémillon grape variety does not appreciate extreme climates.
However, it does enjoy the heat of summer. Relative humidity is essential to its development: our south-western climate is ideal.
It thrives in our small plots on hillsides with limestone and clayey gravel soils. These soils ensure good water supply in dry periods and good drainage in wet periods.
Semillon adds roundness, fullness and aromas of pineapple, peach and mirabelle plum.
Its exotic side and aromatic freshness will seduce and even bewitch you.
Delicious as an aperitif, it will give you pleasure as an accompaniment to your meals.
